MDARS / IDS Software
Mazda Australia is the data provider for diagnostic software under the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme for Mazda Vehicles, with the exception of the Mazda BT 50 (TF). Isuzu is the data provider for diagnostic software for the BT-50 (TF), called G-IDSS (BT-50 TF) and all requests for that model should be directed to Isuzu.
The diagnostic software subscriptions which Mazda Australia provides is for IDS/MDARS which is available on a daily, monthly and annual basis. Following payment and verification of eligibility to the scheme information by AASRA, the software and log in details will be provided.
To operate the subscription software, subscribers will need to have compatible diagnostic hardware. Mazda Australia recommends VCM Kit A, Part no. F-00k-108-820.

From 1 July 2022, the Competition and Consumer Amendment (Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme) Act 2021 comes into affect.
Under the mandatory scheme, all Australian motor vehicle repairers will have fair access to the information needed to service and repair cars.
To participate under this scheme a subscriber will need to establish user credentials at https://sdrm.aasra.com.au/login prior to accessing the Mazda Manuals website.
